The Paris Court of Appeal (CA Paris) is the largest appellate court in France by the number of cases handled by the courts within its jurisdiction, which extends over the departments of Paris, Seine-et-Marne, Yonne, Essonne, Seine-Saint-Denis, and Val-de-Marne.
Its main court is the Paris Judicial Court, which is the most important in France by the number of cases handled.
The premises are located in the Palais de Justice de Paris, on the Île de la Cité.
In 2020, the court had 276 sitting judges and 88 public prosecutors. It handled 56,596 civil cases and 11,143 criminal cases.
