About — The venue
The Théâtre de Vanves is a scène conventionnée located on Rue Sadi-Carnot in the French commune of Vanves, in the Hauts-de-Seine department of the Île-de-France region [insufficient source]. José Alfarroba, its founder, directed it from 1997 to 2015.
The theatre offers a multidisciplinary programme, at times combining dance, theatre and music, but also cinema and exhibitions by visual artists. It also serves as a cultural centre for the commune of Vanves and the surrounding schools.
The Théâtre de Vanves has two performance spaces: a main hall and the salle Panopée, situated near the carrefour de l'Insurrection.
