Jeanne and Sam have just bought a house. Jeanne is convinced it's haunted. Sam, an astrophysicist and fiercely rational, refuses to believe her. As they argue, a couple of friends arrive for dinner: Laura, a university friend of Sam's, and Ben, her new partner. The debate ignites around the table. Can the dead really return among us? Belief and scepticism clash, but as the evening progresses, something strange and frightening draws closer…

So they will stay awake… together… until 2:22… the hour of truth.
