60 JUNO (22:00) (Dreampop - Merced, US)

Hailing from Merced, California, 60juno has established itself as one of the figures of the Central Valley's post-punk scene, blending deep nostalgia with airy, enchanting melodies. Inspired by the rise of the DIY indie rock scene in Southern California in 2016, as well as by the parallel golden age of underground rap on SoundCloud, the 60juno project was born in the isolated bedroom of a solitary teenager during the lockdown of 2020. Realising that writing his own music was not as out of reach as he had imagined, the independent artist became the sole driving force behind his project, personally handling the bass, drums, guitar and vocals on each of his tracks. 60juno pushes the melancholic, dreamy aesthetic of DIY indie rock towards more post-punk territory, adding greater energy and deep, rough vocals. This fusion has given rise to a singular sonic universe that sets him apart and allows him to progressively assert a striking musical identity, one that stays with you.

KINO MOTEL (21:00) (Beach goth - Beast Records - Melbourne, AUS)

Splitting their time between Melbourne and Berlin since forming in 2020, Kino Motel has refined its sonic universe and developed a unique style they describe as "Beach Goth". Described by critics as a blend of Australian gothic, noir, cinematic music and grunge, the duo, made up of Ed Fraser and Rosa Mercedes, has performed on numerous occasions across Europe and Australia, while releasing their critically acclaimed debut album "Visions" in 2024. Ed and Rosa convey feelings and ideas evoking shifting landscapes and endless roads: "like a film in your head", according to the description by Marion Brasch of Radioeins Berlin.
