Overview
Louisa Babari takes over the [mac] musée d'art contemporain with works inspired by Antiquity and by Berber and Numidian cultures, created specially by the artist for the exhibition.
Titled AFRICA, in reference to the Berber goddess and the history of the continent, it offers an immersive experience combining photographic works, visual and sound art, which calls up an ancient bestiary to shape a world in dialogue with the collections of the Musées de Marseille.
In partnership with the Passages contemporary art centre (Troyes)
Exhibition labelled "Saison Méditerranée", cultural season of the Institut français.

► Echoing this exhibition, Louisa Babari will present from September 2026 at the [mac] musée d'art contemporain, the Centre de la Vieille Charité, the musée Cantini and the Centre international de poésie Marseille a new form of the sound project Voix Publiques.
