Ce qui est plus surprenant dans son histoire c’est que ce grand-père, irlandais, a disparu un beau jour au mitan des années 70 et que non seulement personne ne l’a cherché mais en plus aucun membre de la famille n’en a jamais plus parlé. Ni sa femme, ni sa fille, la mère de Kelly.
Devenue adulte, celle-ci va partir à sa recherche… Dans un seul en scène trépidant, passant du français à l’anglais, d’un personnage à l’autre, des rues de Londres aux pubs irlandais, Kelly Rivière nous entraîne dans une enquête pleine d’humour et d’émotions et livre une histoire si intime qu’elle en devient universelle, celle de toute une famille marquée par l’exil.
