Andy Warhol. La Ligne et l'Image - Visite-Atelier Enfant

Children's visit-workshop “Des lignes et des gestes” Ages 6 to 12 Duration: 2h (visit 45 min, workshop 1h15) Can we really draw as if we were a machine?

After a visit of the exhibition with a visual artist, the children are invited to get hands-on: starting from an image of their choice, they experiment with different gestures to reproduce it, and also to personalise it through line and colour.

At 2:15 pm on Monday 19 October, Thursday 22 October, Wednesday 11 November, Monday 21 December and Wednesday 23 December. The time printed on the ticket is the meeting time; the workshop begins at 2:30 pm.

Reduced child rate: applies to children whose parent is a beneficiary of the RSA or the ASS, or a jobseeker, and to a disabled child and their accompanying adult. Andy Warhol: The Line and the Image From 16 September 2026 to 10 January 2027.

Devoted to Warhol's drawings, the exhibition reveals a continuous practice that is essential to understanding his work. Trained as an illustrator, the artist never stopped drawing, including after adopting the mechanical processes that marked his work.

Drawing thus appears as a space of constant experimentation, where images are constructed and a singular visual thinking unfolds.

By bringing together an important ensemble of sheets, some of them unpublished, as well as works related to this practice, the exhibition highlights the continuity of his work across the years.
