Assassin - Tournée

Assassin is a legendary French hip-hop group, founded in Paris in the mid-1980s and led by its charismatic leader Rockin’ Squat, a major figure of socially engaged rap in France.

A forerunner of a conscious and free hip-hop, the group established itself from its earliest days through uncompromising lyrics, politically committed texts and an exceptional artistic freedom.

Assassin became the first French rap group to earn a gold record while fully independent, producing and distributing its music through its own label, Assassin Productions.

The group then became an essential reference and a major influence on this culture in France and internationally. With more than one million albums sold and tracks that have become cult classics, Assassin has influenced several generations of artists.

In 2026, the group makes its big comeback with a new album and a tour, true to its militant, creative DNA and its artistic demands. L’Odyssée continues on its course and nothing can stop it! © X-Ray Production
