Assassin - Tournée

Assassin is a legendary French hip-hop group, founded in Paris in the mid-1980s and led by its charismatic frontman Rockin’ Squat, a leading figure of socially committed rap in France.

A forerunner of a conscious, free-spirited hip-hop, the group made its mark from the outset with an uncompromising voice, politically engaged lyrics and an extraordinary artistic freedom.

Assassin became the first French rap group to earn a gold record while fully independent, producing and distributing its music through its own label, Assassin Productions.

The group then became an essential reference and a major influence on this culture in France and abroad.

With more than one million albums sold and tracks that have become cult classics, Assassin has influenced several generations of artists.

In 2026, the group makes a grand return with a new album and a tour, true to its militant, creative DNA and its artistic standards.
