The story: In ancient Egypt, Queen Cleopatra makes the bold wager that she can prove to Julius Caesar that her people are capable of greatness. She entrusts the architect Numerobis with the impossible mission of building a sumptuous palace in three months. Threatened with being fed to the crocodiles should he fail, Numerobis goes to Gaul to seek help from the druid Getafix. Accompanied by Asterix and Obelix, Getafix travels to Egypt to support his friend with the famous magic potion. Once there, they confront the schemes of the rival architect Amonbofis, determined to make the project fail. Between plots, chases and absurd situations, the obstacles multiply. Thanks to their ingenuity, their humour and a little magic potion, Asterix and Obelix will help Numerobis rise to this monumental challenge.
