Overview
From 19th-century spinning mills to the tales that spin and weave destinies
Au nom du Fil An intense and sensitive epic
Nimble fingers, fingers that spin, weave and embroider destinies. It is about filiation, about transmission. It is about the destiny of a woman moving forward with tiny stitches, a red thread on white linen...
The story weaves together numerous motifs, legendary figures, traditional tales, songs, and the initiation continues.
This musical tale, the fruit of meticulous research, braids the touching story of a spinner from the North with the wonderful and symbolic tales of spinning. It embraces the lives of 19th-century textile workers with tenderness and awareness.
