Autour de Mozart
Concert by the Bordeaux Wind Orchestra
Overview
Concert by the Bordeaux Wind Orchestra
For this concert at the Théâtre Fémina, the Municipal Orchestra performs great masterpieces from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's repertoire (Ave Verum, The Magic Flute, Piano Concerto No. 21, Symphony No. 25), and Carl Maria von Weber's Overture to Der Freischütz. This shimmering programme reveals all the expressive richness and colours of this repertoire, specially arranged for brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Between classical elegance, dramatic intensity, and orchestral virtuosity, it's an opportunity to rediscover Mozart in a new light, through the unique sonorities of the wind orchestra.
Soloist pianist: Dorian Bertin
Conductor: Pascal Lacombe
