Barbara par Pietragalla - Tournée

A STIRRING TRIBUTE TO AN UNFORGETTABLE ARTIST. Marie-Claude Pietragalla, celebrated dancer and choreographer, transforms herself on stage to embody the legendary singer Barbara.

In this masterful show, she becomes the living reflection of the musical icon, transporting the audience into the singer's poetic, melancholic world. Through every movement, every gesture and every expression, Pietragalla reveals the depth of emotion that shaped Barbara's music.

Her dance becomes a vibrant language, translating the emblematic singer's words and melodies. Memories, joys and sorrows take shape in every step, offering the audience a unique visual and emotional experience. "An October evening at the Châtelet. Unforgettable!

A dressing room… Her hand in mine, that wild, enigmatic presence. On stage, she flies, she soars. From her piano to her rocking chair, she savours every instant, every breath, the silence of a room vibrating as one.

Her slender silhouette dressed in black, that walk like a ballerina on demi-pointe, she watches her audience, an audience already won over.

She breathes on stage hours before the curtain rises, she takes the pulse of a fantasised, beloved, desired audience… The stage is her refuge, where every boundary dissolves, darkness becomes light, time comes apart, life's realities are transformed in the chiaroscuro of the spotlights.

Barbara knows that detail sculpts what makes the difference, that stepping on stage is both joy and suffering, leaving it a heartbreak. But already, the road must be taken up again for a new adventure, a new blank page to colour in, the thrill of feeling alive.

The musical notes trace out a score where sighs dance, where silences dance. " Marie-Claude Pietragalla
