Bouba dans Neuf moi(s)

BOUBA in NEUF MOI(S) While his wife is pregnant, Bouba (spelt with a “u”) feels somewhat sidelined. He therefore decides to make his own baby, his first show!

He looks back on his childhood in his housing estate, torn between his mother's Christian faith and his father's Muslim culture, on his career as an actor (from Plus belle la vie to the cinema), and on his whirlwind meeting with the love of his life (a fresh clash of cultures between Portugal and Senegal), before finally finding his place as a father: his new self, a “neuf moi”!

Far more than a string of punchlines, this funny one-man show is a love story very much of the moment, speaking to us about today's France, rich in its cultural diversity, and which, in a deep desire for unity, sweeps aside communitarian clichés without hesitation.

Bouba is a true showman, never vulgar, who takes us into a world that is as touching as it is whimsical, with boundless energy. He was widely noticed as the opening act for Ahmed Sylla, at the Jamel Comedy Club, and is nominated for the TALENT ADAMI at the FESTIVAL DE CANNES 2026.

Bouba delights with his contagious good humour and his sense of humour. PARIS NORMANDIE A “future great of stand-up” who delivered a show that was both funny and moving, and won over the audience. SUD OUEST Selected as one of “Our 10 favourites of the Festival Off 2026”.

A true gem, a favourite! An irresistible and moving one-man show, subtle, never vulgar and imbued with kindness. LA PROVENCE Selected as “Pick of the week - Festival Off 2026”. The artist excels at comedy, yet the laughter is never hollow.

A precious moment, to be savoured without restraint. VAUCLUSE MATIN PRACTICAL INFORMATION Théâtre Le Point Virgule, 7 rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris. ATTENTION: Hôtel de Ville and Saint Paul metro stations.
