During his wife's pregnancy, Bouba (with a “u”) feels a little sidelined. He then decides to create his own baby, his first show! He looks back on his childhood in his neighbourhood, torn between his mother's Christian faith and his father's Muslim culture, on his acting career (from Plus belle la vie to cinema), on his explosive encounter with the woman of his life (a new culture clash between Portugal and Senegal), to finally find his place as a father: his new self, a “neuf moi” (new me/nine months)!

Much more than a succession of punchlines, his humorous one-man show is a resolutely contemporary love story that tells us about today's France, rich in its cultural diversity, and which, in a deep desire for unity, unceremoniously sweeps away all communitarian clichés. Bouba is a true showman, never vulgar, who takes us into his universe, as touching as it is whimsical, with overflowing energy. He was widely noticed as the opening act for Ahmed Sylla, at the Jamel Comedy Club and is named ADAMI TALENT at the CANNES FESTIVAL 2026. Bouba delights with his contagious good humour and sense of humour.
