Ça, c'est l'amour. Suitable from 13 years old. Josiane Balasko and Marilou Berry come together on stage for the first time in a mother-daughter duo. A play written especially for these two leading actresses. On Christmas Eve, Frédérique visits her daughter Mathilde, who has been trapped for years in a relationship marked by domestic violence. Behind this impulsive gesture lies Frédérique's unconscious desire to free her daughter. But faced with a mother as disconcerting as she is endearing, Mathilde, accustomed to male control since adolescence, will she be able to heed this call to rouse herself?

“Ça, c'est l'amour” offers an immersion into the heart of a family story in which the handing down of wounds seems written into the genes. Humour, tenderness and the humanity of the characters make it possible to address the complexity of family ties without looking away, yet without sliding into pathos.
