Cédric Hanriot Trio ft. Knobil & Terreon Gully
A return to the roots of acoustic jazz for pianist Cédric Hanriot, who has collaborated with Dianne Reeves, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Herbie Hancock.
Overview
A return to the roots of acoustic jazz for pianist Cédric Hanriot, who has collaborated with Dianne Reeves, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Herbie Hancock.
Surrounded by an exceptional trio, he offers music that is both organic and contemporary, drawing from the spirit of the great Blue Note albums of the 60s while integrating the codes and languages of the last two decades.
Alongside him, drummer Terreon Gully – a long-time collaborator of Christian McBride and Dianne Reeves – delivers a powerful, subtle, and deeply groovy performance.
Double bassist, singer, and composer KNOBIL brings a unique energy, combining virtuosity, spoken word, and creative freedom. A rising figure in European jazz, she boldly blends modern jazz, punk, and French chanson in a universe that is as sensitive as it is explosive.
Between energy, lyricism, swing, and collective intensity, this trio promises a vibrant and generous moment, a musical experience that is both soulful and resolutely alive.
