Overview
Concert at La Malterie in Lille, featuring the Norwegian trio Kanaan and the German quartet Wucan, two acts playing psychedelic rock and krautrock, with a Dirty Karma stand on site.
Kanaan is a Norwegian trio based in Oslo, active since 2018. Its music combines very free jazz improvisation, psychedelic krautrock landscapes and heavy waves of fuzz. On stage, the three musicians merge into a single entity and develop their pieces as long improvisations.
Wucan is a quartet from Dresden, which has been refining its style for around ten years. Its heavy rock draws on the hard rock of the 1970s, to which it adds forays into progressive rock, vintage metal and krautrock, with references to the rock of the former East Germany.
The brand Dirty Karma will run a stand during the evening. La Malterie is a concert and performance venue located in Lille.
