Chantal Ladesou - Forever

Presenting Chantal Ladesou's new show means presenting Chantal Iconique herself: her character, her way of speaking, of seeing with her own eyes, of recalling, as a spectator of the world, everything that touches our hearts.

An eclectic showgirl, popular but not only that, Chantal Ladesou surprises us every time with her verve, her street-smart wit and her innate touch across every kind of media: on radio with Les Grosses Têtes, on stage last season with 1983, in recurring television game shows with Mask Singer, in a series as a school headmistress with SAM, as a detective in Le Fil d'Ariane, and on the big screen as a cheating property developer and a wayward character in Chasse Gardée with Didier Bourdon, whose sequel is currently being shot, and again in Maison de Retraite with Kev Adam, whose film is becoming a series and will soon be on the small screen too.

Placing mockery at the centre of our situations in a topsy-turvy world, Chantal, sometimes even unconsciously upside down herself, forces the hand of our everyday dramas, making them so human and sometimes so trivial in their faults regarding what matters, that they become lovable, acceptable, if not from a salutary perspective.

A Chantal show means rediscovering the mischief of our adolescence, rediscovering the balance and the stamina of our youth.

Her electric sketches sketch out our foibles and provoke without wounding our consciences, addressing the full range of her audience, from the youngest of today and yesterday to the oldest, even older than them, in unison, when it is not an audience of young old people or old people still young.

You will find the competitiveness of the entertainment world, vanity, even less clean, ego and tripping up among actors, men and women alike, as well as the life of our parents, our couple stories, our battles with time, and everything that can complete her previous show On The Road Again.
