Chantal Ladesou - Forever

Presenting Chantal Ladesou's new show means presenting Chantal the icon herself: her character, her way of speaking, her way of seeing the world with her own eyes, and of reminding us, as a witness to the world, of everything that touches our hearts. An eclectic show-girl, popular but not only that, Chantal Ladesou surprises us every time with her verve, her wit and her natural flair across every kind of media: on radio with Les Grosses Têtes, on stage last season with 1983, in recurring game shows such as Mask Singer, in a series as a headteacher with SAM, as a detective in Le Fil d'Ariane, and on the big screen as a con-artist property developer, gone astray, in Chasse Gardée with Didier Bourdon, whose sequel is currently being shot, and again in Maison de Retraite with Kev Adam, whose film is being adapted into a series and will soon be on television too.

Placing mockery at the heart of our situations in a topsy-turvy world, Chantal, sometimes even unconsciously upside down herself, pushes our everyday dramas to their limits, making them so human, and sometimes so ridiculous in their flaws where the essentials are concerned, that they become lovable, acceptable, if not even a wholesome perspective.

A Chantal show means rediscovering the mischief of our adolescence, regaining the balance and stamina of our youth. Her electric sketches sketch out our foibles and provoke without wounding our consciences, speaking to the full range of her audience, from the youngest of today and yesterday to the oldest, or even older than them, in unison, whether it is an audience of young seniors or old people who are still young.

You will rediscover the competitiveness of the entertainment world, vanities, even less clean ones, egos and tripping-ups among actors and actresses, as well as our parents' lives, our couple stories, our battles with time, and everything else that can complete her previous show, On The Road Again.
