Clash Electro - De Vivaldi à Daft Punk

This Clash starts from a simple idea: baroque and classical music already carried within it a rhythmic power and sense of groove long before machines, beats and turntables. Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and Beethoven stirred their era with striking modernity.

If they were among us today they would doubtless collaborate with contemporary producers from Air to Daft Punk and invent new forms blending strings, mandolin, flute and electronics.

This project is embodied in a new generation of musicians free from the boundaries of style and repertoire. Classical, electronic, jazz, pop, everything flows with total freedom carried by strong artistic demands and immediately communicative energy.

Instruments dialogue with machines, acoustic timbres blend into electronic textures and virtuosity becomes the engine of living, direct and embodied music. The programme thus brings together works from the repertoire, electronic pulses, bass grooves and pop energy.

Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Debussy and Stravinsky meet Justice, Air, Jean Michel Jarre, Michael Jackson and Daft Punk in the same impulse. A jubilant, virtuosic and free Clash where centuries provoke each other, respond to each other and finally dance together.
