Overview
Beethoven under tension. Rap on the surface of the skin.
The Beethoven versus Dooz Kawa clash offers a singular encounter between the power of rap and the intensity of classical music, paying tribute to the rap maestro Dooz Kawa and to the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's death. This clash is a living tribute to Dooz Kawa, who passed away in December 2025, whose voice continues to resonate with rare intensity. A voice like a dagger, capable of cutting through the heart, of voicing rage, beauty, shadow, childhood, fault lines and vertigo with a force that is never forgotten.
A singular artist, he always drew from classical music a deep source of inspiration. From Palimpseste, inspired by Antonio Vivaldi, to Les Naufragés, enriched with strings and lyrical influences, he built a unique language, somewhere between tension and musicality. This project extends that legacy through a clash carried by Davodka and Dakonackta, surrounded by the musical tribe that accompanied him in recent years. Drums, mandolin, electronics, strings and harp make up a hybrid, living line-up, in which Beethoven is pierced through by the energy of live performance.
At the Salle Gaveau, where he gave his last concert in 2025, his tribe does not replay him, it extends him. A voice absent yet still present. A tense, free and unpredictable evening, in his image.
