Concert de Chudahae Chagis : « A Shamanic funky night »

Driven by the powerful, possessed voice of Chu Dahye, the group reinterprets Korean shamanic songs drawn from gut rituals and places them within a resolutely contemporary musical creation.

By blending these deep roots with rock, psychedelic, punk and funk sounds, Chudahye Chagis forges a singular musical language. Each performance amounts to a true ceremony, combining raw energy, collective trance and aesthetic exploration.

Costumes inspired by shamanism, folklore and avant-garde influences extend this artistic and sensory experience. Presenting itself as a form of cultural resistance, the group seeks less to seduce than to invoke, disrupt and awaken, in a radical celebration of Korean heritage.

A rising figure on the international experimental scene, the group has already made its mark on European and Asian stages. Through their daring reinterpretation of Korean heritage, the group anchors itself in the present and breathes life into ancient traditions.
