Overview
Release of the new CD by the ensemble "The Curious Bards", centred on popular influence in the work of Henry Purcell.
Two different 50-minute concerts at 7pm and 9pm. Purcell, audacity and a breath of freedom! On 19 January, The Curious Bards take over the Théâtre de l'Opprimé in Paris to celebrate the release of Rebellion, their new album on Harmonia Mundi.
From the streets of London to the theatre stage, the ensemble reveals a vibrant, mischievous and bold Purcell. A spirit of freedom also runs through the album, on which Philippe Katerine lends his voice to an encounter that is as unexpected as it is delightful.
