Concert — Hajar Benhsaïm et Ses Musiciens
In conjunction with the Nuit du Jazz
Overview
In conjunction with the Nuit du Jazz
A Moroccan singer and composer whose voice transcends borders and aesthetics, Hajar Benhsaïm builds bridges between living traditions and modernity.
Nurtured by the music of the Egyptian golden age and carried by Moroccan heritage, she shapes a vocal universe where oriental ornamentations, a sense of narrative, and raw emotion intertwine.
Her journey is also marked by soul, blues, and jazz, embracing their freedom, improvisation, and expressive depth. An explorer of meaning, Hajar delicately addresses themes of exile, self-discovery, family ties, and love.
On stage, she invites the audience on a sensitive journey where each note reveals a plural identity.
