Concert Nous Sommes le Vent par l'harmonie de La Sirène et Hormê

La Sirène de Paris, a wind band, joins the Hormê quartet to offer you an original concert built around compositions by Rozann Bézier, a jazz trombonist. Through works evoking a journey through the elements, such as mist or storm, the music in fact carries us on a personal voyage, into the heart of our emotions.

A musical gust sweeps across the Left Bank, led with drums beating by the wind band of La Sirène de Paris.

Founded in 1874, this amateur ensemble, among the oldest in the capital, brings together more than seventy musicians in repertoires at the crossroads of classical music and contemporary repertoire.

With the new work "Nous sommes le vent", it offers an original partnership with the jazz quartet Hormê – trombone, guitar, double bass, drums – to set the imagination vibrating.

The repertoire, built around compositions by Rozann Bézier, paints shifting landscapes crossed by breaths and bursts of sound. These fiery works plunge into the heart of the elements, from mists to storms, with an unprecedented emotional intensity.

Under the direction of William Le Sage, the wind band of La Sirène de Paris reveals here all its sensitivity and its taste for collective dynamics.

True to its mission, it champions more than ever a living musical practice in which popular music and contemporary creation engage in dialogue.
