Overview
Between electro concert, giant pop-up book and animation cinema, EKLA! opens the doors to a fascinating visual and sonic universe. On stage, the Turnsteak duo transforms paper into moving landscapes.
Cut, folded and then assembled, the shapes come to life before spectators' eyes through lighting effects, video projections and optical illusions. Each page becomes a set, each transformation a surprise.
Throughout this wordless adventure, the two musicians compose a delicate and immersive soundtrack live. Electronic loops, sound effects and melodies accompany this journey where images and music constantly dialogue. Accessible from age 4, EKLA! amazes both children and adults.
At the crossroads of concert, visual spectacle and object theater, this inventive creation invites you to watch, listen and imagine together. A poetic and sensory parenthesis to share as a family. Composition and music: Damien Rollin and François-Xavier Cumin. Animation: Nikodio.
