Emily Loizeau & Quatuor Debussy

Author, composer and outstanding performer Emily Loizeau shares the stage with the Quatuor Debussy, which for more than thirty years has been inventing an art of living music in motion. Twenty years ago, Emily Loizeau made a striking entrance onto the French music scene with "L'Autre bout du Monde": a debut album crowned with a platinum disc. Since then, she has established herself as a singular, independent and committed artist, with five further original albums and numerous musical collaborations, on stage as well as on screen. For a few exceptional concerts, she shares the stage with the Quatuor Debussy, which for about thirty years has imagined a way of living music in motion, multiplying dialogues with creators of live performance without neglecting the classical and contemporary repertoire, nor contemporary popular music. Together, they explore Emily Loizeau's repertoire, drawing from each of her albums compositions that they reinvent as a quintet (strings and piano), faithful to the spirit of the singer.
