Exposition « Boxing Queens », Delphine Blast

The exhibition Boxing Queens highlights the empowerment of young women in Tanzania through the practice of boxing, a sport traditionally reserved for men. The stories of these female boxers, often from disadvantaged neighborhoods and on the path to professionalization, show their struggle for their rights and freedoms beyond the ring.

Delphine Blast is a French photographer whose work, at the crossroads of documentary, social, and artistic approaches, is distinguished by a strong field-based commitment. Her visual style, which blends photography, staging, and plastic interventions, is both sensitive and engaged. She champions relational photography, with a desire to highlight frequently marginalized trajectories and to foster pride and recognition.
