Overview
To mark the fourth anniversary of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, a selection of photographs dedicated to one of the most striking uprisings in Iran's contemporary history.
It all began in September 2022 with the tragic death of Mahsa-Jina Amini, who was arrested for an alleged improperly worn veil. This exhibition pays tribute to her, as well as to all the victims and to those who, still today, continue this fight for freedom and dignity in Iran.
Exhibition curator: Golnaz Broomandi With the support of the Perse en poche publishing house and bookstore (Paris 15th), the Middle East Images agency and the Town Hall of the 15th arrondissement.
Discover the exhibition from 15 September to 11 October on the ground floor (level 0), during the library's opening hours.
