Exposition & jeux : à la rencontre des animaux mal-aimés

At the Maison de l'animal, crows, rats, bats, foxes and other misunderstood creatures get their own back! A playful and informative exhibition to challenge preconceived ideas and have fun as a family.

Crow, pigeon, rat, fox, cockroach, mosquito, hornet, slug, bat… Do they bother you, sometimes disgust you, often frighten you? What if we learned to know them better? The Maison de l'animal is devoting a major exhibition to these species, which share our everyday lives and are too often, and unfairly, regarded as undesirable. An opportunity to change your outlook, discover their roles in the ecosystem and question our relationship with animals known as "pests". An exhibition that will whet your curiosity…

On the programme: educational content accessible to everyone, drawn from the work of the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle and several partner associations. Melissa Polge's graphic creations around the rat: a sensory exploration and visual atlas of its depiction through the centuries. Games for young and old… including a treasure hunt to try as a family! And to extend the experience, a selection of thematic books available to browse freely.
