Overview
Show adapted from Andersen's “The Snow Queen”.
Kay has vanished without a trace, and Gerda's sorrow is so great that she resolves to sleep for a hundred years, perhaps a thousand. But her dream takes the reins of the story and invites us to follow it ever further, into the white lands of Lapland, on the edge of the sparkling kingdom of the Snow Queen …
Carried by a single actress who moves fluidly between narration, embodiment and the manipulation of objects (her acting partners), the show recounts the initiatory journey of a little girl whose wandering, become perseverance, ultimately awakens the beating heart of a story threatened by the frost. And in weaving the threads of a metamorphosis.
