Overview
With De mieux en mieux pareil, this unclassifiable clown-poet keeps up his delicate art of the splits: frank laughter and fine thinking, visual poetry and engaged humour, ingenious tinkering and bar-stool philosophy… but a bar-stool philosophy kept in good order.
At Gustave Parking, three bits of string are enough to set off an avalanche of visual gags, and behind every burst of laughter slips a question about human beings, the world, the planet and our capacity to do better, or at least to try.
A show for all audiences, clever without being solemn, engaged without being heavy, and always wonderfully joyful.
In short, if it returns to the Baie, it is no coincidence. It is because here, we like to laugh while thinking… and to think while laughing.
