Overview
With De mieux en mieux pareil, this unclassifiable clown-poet continues his delicate art of the split: honest laughter and sharp thought, visual poetry and committed humour, genius tinkering and bar-room philosophy… though a well-run bar.
With Gustave Parking, a few scraps of string are enough to trigger an avalanche of visual gags, and behind every burst of laughter slips a question about humanity, the world, the planet and our ability to do better, or at least to try.
A show for all audiences, intelligent without being serious, committed without being heavy, and always terribly joyful. In short, if he is returning to the Bay, it is no coincidence. It is because here, we love to laugh while thinking… and think while laughing.
