WRITE, DRINK AND DIE Ernest Hemingway, the most French of American writers, is famous for having written Le vieil homme et la mer, Paris est une fête, Paris est une fête or Pour qui sonne le glas, which earned him the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954.

The show traces Hemingway's extraordinary career, his literary approach, and his suffering in living as much as in writing, through the major stages of his life. He clashes with Al Capone in Chicago in the 1920s. He liberates Paris in 1944. He writes, weeps and drinks in Cuba afterwards. And he ends his adventures in the United States in 1961.

A biopic that will make you want to reread Hemingway's works.
