Overview
‘From 1930 to 1976, Henriette was locked away in the Montperrin asylum for the insane in Aix-en-Provence. She is my great-grandmother. I invite you to her liberation.’
Cyrille Atlan tells the story of his ancestor and plays her himself. Forty-six years of confinement in an asylum unfold in a theatre of dolls and rags, dimly lit by torches.
