Hugo Le Van, 22, is part of the generation that doesn't wait to be given a voice — he takes it, microphone on, unfiltered and without permission.

Revealed to the general public after notable appearances in the Djadel Show's Roast, and in his columns for La Riposte on Radio Nova, he has transformed simple segments into viral moments.

Hugo already has a signature style: a direct, raw, sometimes borderline humour, but always owned. Where some test the limits, he runs right through them. He has been honing his writing since he was 14, the age he started stand-up.

He talks about everything: sex, bodies, identities, social taboos — but never gratuitously. His line is clear, almost political: « I'm left-wing, here we cut everyone down to size equally  ». Translation: no one is sacred, so everyone is equal in the face of a joke.

What truly distinguishes him isn't just what he says, it's how he does it. Hugo doesn't seek to be liked, he seeks to be real, and in an environment where many calculate, that creates a rare tension.

On stage, he plays with discomfort, pushing the audience to their limits, pure stand-up in the vein of Richard Pryor, Bill Burr, or in France, Mustapha El Atrassi.

At 22, he has already performed in all the comedy clubs in France; at an age when some of his friends are still in school, he mocks the world around him and the flaws of humanity.
