LE NON_JAZZ programme ITSELOT / aka LISE-LOTTE NORELIUS Lise-Lotte Norelius has over 40 years of experience as a musician. Originally trained as a percussionist, since 2000 she has focused primarily on live electronics.

She studied electroacoustic composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from 1998 to 2002 and has since composed music for loudspeakers, musicians with live electronics, poetry, theatre, installations and dance performances.

A preference for small, pathetic, comical and ugly sounds, rhythmic structures and long lines often characterises her music, which can be at once beautiful, raw and brutal.

In recent years, she has used controllable motors, self-made noise devices, synthesiser jewellery, vacuum cleaners and floppy disk drives, for further processing with Max/MSP and various effect boxes.

se/ JOAQUIN ORTEGA An Argentine musician based in France, Joaquín Ortega explores the connections between the guitar, electronic devices and field recordings. His work is inspired by body movement and contemporary musical languages.

Alongside his instrumental practice, he also develops projects surrounding installations and dance.
