Jahneration, Tournée

The Parisian duo Jahneration, formed by Thëo and Ogach, came into being in 2009 when these two college friends decided to swap Punk Rock for Reggae. Musicians since their early childhood, they compose, write, and sing in English mixed with Jamaican patois.

Lovers of this island and its music, the duo draws its inspiration from frequent trips there: in 2017, they recorded with their musicians in the famous Marley family studios, "Tuff Gong Studios".

This was followed by notable collaborations with big names in international Reggae such as Alborosie, Queen Omega, and numerous French artists including Manu Chao, Dub Inc, Danakil, and Naâman.

The meeting with the latter in 2011 marked a turning point in the career of the two music enthusiasts, with the track "Me Nah Fed Up": a Reggae/Hip Hop song that made an impression on young Reggae fans and secured them a first loyal audience.

It was in 2015 that Jahneration signed with the independent label Ovastand, which established them in the contemporary music scene. In 10 years, they have toured France and its overseas territories, Europe, India, and Canada, performing over 400 concerts.

After supporting acts in most venues and Zéniths across France, they sold out the Olympia in 2022 and now play to sold-out crowds nationwide. With their 6 albums, Jahneration has established itself as one of the essential projects in French Reggae.

Prolific, creative, and powerful on stage, they gather a vast audience with their modern and dynamic Reggae. Catch them on tour throughout France next year and at the Olympia on 2 April 2027.
