Overview
Presented by NC3B - Comédie des 3 bornes.
Unlike bees and birdsong, war is not an endangered species.
Since it has never seemed more necessary to say it again, let us say it again: war, no thank you.
Through texts by Boris Vian, Georges Perec, Jacques Prévert and other wags of the same ilk, Florent Aumaître takes turns playing a disillusioned squaddie, a grunt with no flower in his rifle, and the man who laughs at the pitiful spectacle of those who decide to manufacture cannon fodder.
This one-man show, which also lampoons atomic bombs and deserters, sets out to say, with tenderness, humour and a heart that beats, what every ear ought to hear: war is bloody disgusting.
Did you know? Florent Aumaître performed Maupassant's Le Horla more than 500 times between 2011 and 2019, notably at the Théâtre Michel and the Lucernaire.
Cast: Florent Aumaître
Director: Arnaud Schmitt
