Why will we still be laughing at human stupidity in 100 years? Because it never changes. 1932: Australia mobilises its army. Objective: save the farmland crops. Enemy: the emus, large, fast flightless birds, utterly indifferent to military discipline. Result: the army will lose its feathers and give in. Yes, yes, against birds. Everything is official: decree, strategy, artillery. Everything is serious, except the starting point: utterly absurd.
