Overview
Le Petit Détournement is a live, improvised show of film dubbing. On stage, voice actors dub extracts from iconic films, reinterpreting them live. The whole is accompanied by a talented musician who reinvents the soundtrack of the projected film in real time. The evening is orchestrated by a master of ceremonies, a true purveyor of culture, who dispenses delicious anecdotes and cinephile winks.
Le Petit Détournement offers a theatrical and cinematic experience, where humour and creativity intertwine.
Le Petit Détournement is inspired by the success of its illustrious predecessor: Le Grand Détournement, a French television film written and directed in 1993 by Michel Hazanavicius and Dominique Mézerette, telling the invented life of a John Wayne renamed Georges Abitbol "L'Homme le plus classe du monde".
