La musique en partage

When music goes out to meet those who cannot come to a concert, it takes on a particular dimension. Through a series of musical wanderings within Hôpital Bichat, students from the polyphonic department offer moments of sharing and listening, where closeness and encounter become the heart of the artistic experience.

Beyond its musical and technical possibilities, the clarinet has a rich history, closely tied to the evolution of repertoires and musical styles.

Students from the polyphonic department leave the usual setting of the Conservatoire to meet patients at Hôpital Bichat.

Devised with the hospital teams, this intervention takes the form of musical wanderings, close to patients and to the various spaces of the establishment. Without a piano, the students will favour light, mobile musical forms adapted to each encounter.

As they move from room to room, voices, music, dance-like hand movements, readings and recitations come together to create moments of sharing.

This experience invites the young musicians to step outside the traditional concert frame and develop another way of playing: listening, adapting, being present and engaging with the other person.

The attention paid to the audience, the place and the quality of the encounter thus becomes a fully integral part of their artistic practice.

An encounter beyond the walls, where music moves, is shared and becomes a gesture of presence.
