La Porte à Côté

Presented by La Comédie d'Aix. She's a shrink. He sells yoghurts. She sizes up souls, he counts pots.

They are neighbours on the same landing, they cordially loathe each other, and, like millions of single people lost in the city, they furtively explore dating sites in search of love.

The only snag is that this love would have to be the polar opposite of this infernal character who lives next door. They flee each other, cross paths, slip away… and always end up back on the landing, or behind that blasted door! Hate your neighbour?

Is it the best way to love them? A play with irresistible humour, where the lines of a mischievous author, a keen observer of humankind, come one after another.
