Overview
We all have a madeleine de Proust, don't we? For me, it's the smell of basil; for you, your grandfather's eau de Cologne or a song by the Backstreet Boys, those things that remind us of the child we once were. And they are all different. We don't share the same references, we are strangers. But however surprising it may seem, tonight, for the duration of the show, you will see that I am you and you are me. We have all done a dreadful day job, sorting curtain rails in a big-box store, had a girlfriend or boyfriend break our heart, lost our keys before leaving for work, bought clothes while being in the red at the bank, checked our passport 56 times before boarding the plane. In short, real life. The kind that makes us human, the kind that reminds us where we are without forgetting where we come from, and that brings back the smell of basil.
