In just a few minutes, visitors rise to a height of 150 metres to enjoy a 360° panorama, with visibility reaching up to 50 km in clear weather. The Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse, Les Invalides... everything is revealed from a rare perspective.

But the experience is not limited to the view. The Ballon Generali is also a genuine flying laboratory, equipped with instruments to measure air quality and certain climate-related indicators.

Beyond offering a unique experience to admire the capital from 150 metres high, as a scientific flying laboratory it aims to raise awareness about global warming, to develop a culture of prevention among visitors in order to help reduce their exposure to risks.

Regarding air quality, its LOAC (Light Optical Aerosol Counter), a state-of-the-art instrument installed on the basket, also continues to measure 24 hours a day the quantity of fine particles in the air up to an altitude of 300 metres.

It also continuously measures ozone using an instrument from LISA (CNRS) and pollens in collaboration with LIFY AIR. These measurements contribute to research
