Oh Captain, my Captain…
This line still resonates today.
This charismatic, iconoclastic teacher inspires his young pupils as they open up to life, far from the straitjacket of convention embodied by their school. A moving, contemporary story, the play celebrates friendship, emancipation and the passing on of values at the moment when personalities and destinies take shape.
A cry for life! A cry for freedom! Carpe Diem! Carpe Diem!
