Oh Captain, my Captain…
This line from Le Cercle des Poètes Disparus still resonates.
This charismatic and iconoclastic teacher inspires his young pupils as they open up to life, far from the constraints of convention embodied by their school. A moving, contemporary story, the play celebrates friendship, emancipation and the passing on of ideas, at the very moment when personalities and destinies are taking shape.
A cry for life! A cry for freedom! Carpe Diem! Carpe Diem!
