Overview
The 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days will take place on 19 and 20 September 2026.
True to tradition, this year's European Heritage Days (JEP) will feature two themes: "Heritage in Peril: Revive, Resist, Reimagine" and "Heritage of Photography".
To mark the bicentenary of the invention of photographic technique by Nicéphore Niépce, we are presenting an exhibition that chronicles 130 years of daily life in Roncq through your photographs.
In January 2026, the archives and memory department launched a call for physical or digital photograph donations for this exhibition. Over five months, you rallied together! 18 donations representing nearly 6,728 photographs have joined the collections of the City of Roncq!
