Fanny Chiarello - Soizic Lebrat

Fanny is a writer, Soizic is a cellist. Both of them are runners. One writes landscapes, the other listens to them. Between them, a sensitive space emerges when the territories crossed and internal topographies resonate with one another.

Peering over hedges, wandering beneath bridges, slipping behind supermarkets: the two women set space in motion. Fanny Chiarello reads texts born from her explorations on foot or by bicycle through cities, countryside, industrial zones and housing estates.

Soizic Lebrat composes a musical piece for cello, fueled by her own runs with headphones on, where strides and breath coexist with outside sounds.

In a poetic and sonic kaleidoscope, both written and improvised, words and music traverse the way places and our gazes tame, influence and affect one another. The text Paysages Pauvres is published by Le Castor astral (2026).
