Presented by JEAN MARC DUMONTET PLATESV-R-2022-011004 “When I was offered the opportunity to create a musical tale version of Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece, I naturally re-read the original but also delved into existing adaptations. This is how I discovered Joann Sfar’s comic book.
Faithful to the creator of the work, it brings new energy to the text. The dialogues gain extraordinary intensity and the drawings bring us closer to each character.
This is how I conceived a show in which the text, narrated by a speaker, the projection of Sfar’s images, and the music, alternately illustrative and distanced from a text with so many levels of interpretation, are intertwined!
